KALI is a duet based on the Indian goddess Kali. In this performance, Nishant Bhola explores the contradictions in the character of Kali – who symbolizes destruction ánd creation at the same time.

She is therefore also referred to as the zero goddess. KALI is a modern dance piece based on Indian themes. The Dutch-Indian composer Satyakam Mohkamsingh composed beautiful violin music specially for KALI. The music is contemporary and exudes a unique character based on classical Indian music.
